Merry WIPmas!
It's the first day of the new year... and I really do not feel like writing a "2025 in Review" blog anytime soon. But I still want to post SOMETHING, y'know??? 'Cause I kinda left off on a... troubling note. Sort of. Anyone could have told me that that kind of writing takes a huge toll on the author, but I still didn't expect to burn out so quickly.
No matter what I'm doing, I feel like I run out of energy within the week. I'll be super duper excited and then POOF! I'm taking two weeks or two months or two years off. Really frustrating, but it just is what it is, I guess.
Anyways, I'm not here to preamble. I just want to dump all my old works-in-progress and call it a year. Vivarism is due for a total revamp— mainly because things keep breaking in the smallest, least-noticeable-to-anybody-but-me kind of way. Since I got really into making fanlistings this past year, I've learnt a lot about creating layouts. It's time to apply that knowledge to this site, too.
Which means... probably every single page I've made will have to be painstakingly converted or perhaps totally recreated. Sigh! Rather than let the unfinished stuff stay unseen forever, I'm dumping it all for your viewing pleasure. This might be all you hear from me for a billion years, after all.
Stuff I Made in 2025
- Yumejoshi Corner: The AU page I have been chipping away at for 3 years (yikes ┌) got tons of new art!!! For some reason, stories past the middle of the page have a higher probability of being fleshed out? Also my miniblog now has a functional password hint system. Go wild.
- Flonnetorials: Professor Flonne rambles and rants and trails off in the middle of her point. The only finished post: How to Not Get Cancelled
- About The Flonne: I've been adding characters to both the "kintypes" and "crushes" tabs, but never announced it bcus it's not that interesting. There was supposed to be a new subsection for my Infinity Nikki faves, but when I was compressing the images I accidentally fucked it all up. ┘ So y'know what? Never mind!! I'll do it next year!
- Vivarixel: Version 0.5 of my pixel subsite has been up since October and I guess it's going to stay this way for a while because... I don't want to work on it anymore........... but it's full of lots and lots of cute art I made this year!!!! I love love love to draw baby toys.
- 100 Questions for Webmasters: I am not immune to trends. I can't remember if I finished this or not? I think I probably did.
Ummmm that's probably mostly everything. I mean, there's stuff I didn't link directly, but you can find it yourself if you care/have eyes.
